Here's a classic example of the attitude of the Street these days toward tech.

From this morning's Merrill research on the HWP analyst conference:

We think investors may have the wrong set of concerns, but HP's refusal to lower estimates has everybody concerned.

In other words, these guys haven't warned yet, they obviously don't have the proper grasp of the reality that we know is true.
