William, I came to know about that yesterday evening. Also found this piece on Yahoo message board (of all the places :)piece written by Jim Cramer of TheStreet.com. =================== Buying the Rumor 8/16/00 1:22 PM ET Some outfit by the name of Frost Brothers is apparently raiding down Virata (VRTA:Nasdaq) with some negative story. I know that business is strong, so we are buying the raid. Got to buy them when you can, not when you have to. Long Virata =================== I have been lucky with VRTA. First purchased at 52, then sold at 84. Purchased again 70, sold at 74, bought at 71 sold at 77 and then finally when it went down 10 points yesterday, I bought at 67 with a big smile on my face --- only to see it drift 5 more points lower..
