Okay, jp, this site is just great!! The statement is made that EVERYTHING THAT CAN BE MADE FROM OIL AND WOOD CAN BE MADE FROM HEMP, and discusses the usual suspects--robber barons who controlled much of America--as putting the kabosh on growing hemp, because it cut into their profit margins. This is the conspiracy I remember. Even Father Terrence advocates hemp, and he is not an environmentalist. I suspect that there is an issue of education here, but that the usefulness of hemp might be something a lot of people could agree on!! I hope some people on this thread enjoy the url you provided, and have some comments, especially the scientific types who counter-balance my bleeding heart . . . libertarianism!!! Thanks a lot, jp!!!
