contribution or distraction - pure speculation

this is buyer beware, and i am not recommending or pushing this stock for purchase. i just bought a small amount of a speculative biotech stock today that i have not owned for several years. it is emis, emisphere technologies. i made lots of money on it, because i picked it up in the 8s and 12s back in 1998 and 1999 and dumped it in the 50s and 70s in 2000. emis is again in the 12s today. emis could go way down anytime if things don't go right. here is the Speculative reason i bought some emis today. in summary emis says it has a technology that allows drugs that are only injectable in humans today to be encapsulated in an oral pill or liquid and the drug gets passed into the blood stream that way. emis has had phase III fda blind testing going on now for several years for its oral heparin (injected heparin used in hip replacement surgery). quintiles has been doing the work. so crunch time is here finally for emis. the triple blind results are finished at quintiles, and emis is going to get the info sometime very soon, emis says. so the quintiles oral heparin info will either crush emis or send it into orbit, i would think. that is the risk folks, and the price is down far enough that i jumped on a little today. i personally think emis's technology works. i used to read all their reports and annual reports. there is a huge short position by sterling. strangely many, many institutions and hedge funds own this stock. if you want to read a wacky message board on emis, go the the emis yahoo message board. the stock continues to go down, and remember this is only a flyer for me. i am posting just because this thing will really go up a lot or down a lot soon.
