Don't forget how expensive the first consumer CD players were, or anything else of this type. :-)

I wouldn't be an early adopter of any of this, but almost before we know it, they'll be everywhere. Look at how many traffic lights are already LED based, as well as these amazing video displays by the side of the freeway - bright and clear in broad daylight with the sun shining !
