Jack, thanks so much for your prayer.
I wish the rest of the U.S. could enjoy the religious freedoms in their schools that we have in our school district. It was a long
hard fight and we are victorious. In fact the enemy was totally
destroyed by the power of Jesus.
My kids are in public school that is one of the best academically
in the country.
Our schoolboard has christians. Allot of teachers are christains,
we can have bible clubs, carry bibles to read at school,
wear shirts with Jesus on it , sing christain songs at song plays..
witness at school,give biblical truth on school papers about
the real creation and the teacher will not make the student feel
bad even if the teacher isn't a christian.
And, guess what...It's all legal. Nothing in any court ruling stops this and infact most court rulings indicate this as legal.
Occasionally we get outsiders who move to the area and they
say something. But, then the school officials hand the person what the
law is. And, that's thats.
We give all the glory to Jesus for giving us these rights.
But, we did have to fight for them.
Our flagpole day here is not only a prayer day, but it is a day we give Jesus the praise for this victory. We know without
Him there is no victory.
The interesting thing about it. We get more fun made at us by
Christians over this than the world.
The Jesus we live here goes into the world it doesn't hide in a house
some where.
