Re: Muzzle - Re: "Your attitude here is really pathetic. And don't accuse me of bias, you are the one who started this BS."
BALONEY !!!
SpryGuy started it all asking me if I still held my AMD that I bought at $84 last week.

Paulie: Stillholding your last chunk at $84.00? {========================================}
Why don't you learn something before you go shooting your mouth off?
What are you - a paid alibi-man for SpryGuy - or just another frustrated AMDroid who makes things up to suit his own vision of the world ?
Paul
You are such a LIAR and an ASS. Check the following post dated July 22nd. And to think that I voted for you to stay in moderated group. Do you think people are as incompetent as you are finding old postings ?
Muzo
PS I have to accept you got to me. I had some modicum of respect for you before but what you did is so lame, so lack of excuse, so stupid, I couldn't stop myself. ========================================================= To: Elmer who wrote (120711) From: Paul Engel Saturday, Jul 22, 2000 11:12 PM ET Reply # of 121210
Elmer - Re: "After all his luney claims that AMD was taking off to the moon that very day, all I can say is it couldn't happen to a NicerGuy. " Well said !!!
Now - repeat that 767 more times !!
Re:" AMD is now a viable company with the prospects of profitability for some time to come."
AMD will prosper for the duration of the strong semiconductor business cycle. Once that comes to an end, I suspect they will resort to their old tactics of price bombing to gain market share - and sacrifice profits. The AMD leopard cannot change his spots completely.
Re: "There is a reason why they say 80% of the people playing options lose money. What they really mean is 80% of the people buying options lose money. "
AIn't that the truth !
These guys think they are going to strike it rich by investing 5 or 10 thousand dollars by buying a ton of Call Options for a few bucks - way out of the money. Come expiration date, that option is still out of the money and these bozos are OUT OF THEIR OWN MONEY !!
My guess is that SpryGuy dropped $325,000 on July Call Options - if you go back through his posts describing his Call Option Purchases.
Can you imagine dropping $325,000 - with no prayer of getting it back ?
If he had bought AMD stock, he could have at least had a "prayer" that the stock will one day recover.
But $325,000 lost - in one fell swoop !!
As McJimbo would say - "BAM !!!"
