Thanks for the link, SeachRE. It CONFIRMS that this is fake news, as I expected.

Wilbur Ross wasn't talking about how the virus could boost the U.S. economy. It's already assumed that the coronavirus is going to devastate the economy.

All he said was this, "So I think it will help to accelerate the return of jobs to North America."

He's right, you know. Long-term, companies will have to re-evaluate how much they want to outsource their manufacturing to China.

But nothing in his words hinted that coronavirus would be good in general for the U.S. economy. That's an interpretation that comes from taking words strictly out of context.

Don't let that stop you from repeating that lie, however. It wouldn't be the first time you repeated a lie after it has been debunked, and it won't be the last.
