I just read an article in the WSJ that said that the SPCA was going to continue to allow the "pooling of interests" method for a while which allows an "Acquiror" to defer or never write off the acquistion price. Actually, if truth be known, I really didn't bother to read the article, but it in the WSJ if you want to read it.
