the point of my post was to find out whether there was any evidence that corel was developing strategic alliances with the main players in the java crowd. if i remember what i said - it was that one would think that sun would support corel, on the old machiavellian principle that my enemy's enemy is my friend. yet the public record doesn't show that dr. cowpland has developed any such strategic alliance, with sun or anybody else. why not?
