(NasdaqNM:CNXT - news) to strong buy from buy on Thursday. -- further details not immediately available. -- Merrill Lynch analyst Joe Osha reiterated his ratings of near-term accumulate and long-term buy. -- in report, said the Conexant move ``makes sense.'' -- shares closed at $37-1/16. -- company said on Wednesday that it would spin off its Internet infrastructure business.
