earnings were in line with expectations biz.yahoo.com quicken.excite.com the bad news is demand is currently weak, the good news is visibility is poor (about 6 to 8 weeks) and HTCH is being encouraged to be prepared to ramp up production by the end of this quarter. The current slump could end quickly due to smaller inventories in the channel. On the customer front they have added Maxtor and are working on adding Fugitsu and increasing the biz with SEG. Looks like they are selling to all the major HSA manufactures that are producing GMR (IBM, TDK, Yamaha & Alps). RDRT should be added to this list as soon as they get their GMR act together.
