I've also received similar messages from subscriber sites like StockWinners. The point is that this is a little correction, and if you're looking at the longer term... it doesn't make any difference.

There's a small passage in Harry Dent's book, Roaring 2000's, p290, that really caught my attention: "Above all, never sell in corrections -- that is the biggest single investment mistake you can make. Only sell if the long-term fundamentals that originally caused you to buy the stock or fund have changed."

Naive retail investors get screwed during corrections because they typically sell at a loss; while smart money is buying.
