I used to repair my circa 1969 machine until the main motor needed replacing. Then I repaired the circa 1990 Kenmore by Whirlpool machine until the main motor went out. I have yet to open up the newer front loader, but it can hardly be much different than some ultra small commercial front loaders I have helped to repair. Sometimes being able to fix things can be a big pain.
