jw, I tried the Costco free ISP but ran into problems and scrapped it. However, there's Bluelight, available on CD at any Kmart. I have installed Bluelight for two friends who like it. The home page is Yahoo with Kmart ads.

So, you don't need a Costco membership just to get a free ISP. [I am a member for other reasons]. I also use the Juno and Alta Vista free ISPs with decent results.
