What falling resistance line? You need two points no? Unless you're using those two points right at the top in both March and August of 2000. I'm not sure of the value of a line drawn using such two nearby points. Is that really a working downtrend? But hey its only TA, there are no hard fast rules. And indeed I have your upper line sitting around that 1300 area which is pretty much where I expect the ED to turn if that's what the SPX is in.
