Jane, first of all there is no man on this earth that is perfect in his walk and there has only been ONE. But you say I don't have a clue. I do not have to read two years of posts to realize that God don't need no TRASHMAN!!!!!
And clear this up too my dear. The scripture you are referring to is
I Peter 4: verse 17 but you have to take the whole context to make it right. starting in verse 14:
If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, YOU ARE BLESSED, for the Spirit of Glory and of God rests on you. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief, or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a CHRISTIAN, DO NOT BE ASHAMED, but praise GOD that you bear that name. FOR IT IS TIME FOR JUDGEMENT TO BEGIN WITH THE FAMILY OF GOD;and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
