MORE ON MULTICULTURALISM

Yesterday I told you about the requirement at the University of Georgia for one course in "multiculturalism" before you could graduate with a degree in arts and sciences.
Wow! Did I ever strike a nerve on this one. It seems that a goodly number of the UGA students are not one wee little bit happy with this requirement. At best, they generally consider it to be a waste of their time and money. At worst, they consider it to be a complete absurdity designed to insure the continued employment of the professors who teach this multicultural nonsense.
We heard from a long-term professor at UGA who told us the essence of multicultural studies at UGA. Throughout yesterday afternoon the professor's comments were more or less dittoed by a succession of e-mailers.
Basically, here is what you learn in the study of multiculturalism:
Every single bad or negative thing that has ever happened in the history of mankind: every war, every act of depravity or cruelty; every famine, disease, epidemic and hang nail; every scornful look, rude gesture, and impolite dismissal; every rejection, red light, traffic jam, termite infestation, pimple and moat in the eye; every broken pencil; every copy machine out of toner, and every flat tire is the sole and exclusive fault of some protestant, straight white male lurking nearby.
On the other side of the coin: every ray of sunshine, every act of human kindness, every blooming rose, every love song, every smile on the street and every helping hand from a stranger ... indeed, every positive development in the history of mankind is the result of the efforts of some person who is not white and is not male.
The entire multicultural and diversity movement is nothing less than another wearisome element of the war against the individual and the war against merit currently being waged in this country. The most demonic leaders of the left – people like Lenin and Hitler (yes, dammit --- Hitler. His party was the National Socialist Party of Germany) have made it clear that the concept of the individual, and of individual merit, must be dishonored. Today's multiculturalists are carrying that anti-individual torch forward.
JESSE JACKSON SETS HIMSELF UP TO BE USED AGAIN
So – the Sloganmaster, Jesse Jackson, is talking to the Yugoslavian government about releasing the three U.S. soldiers they captured. Do any of you truly feel that any success he has will be because of his superior skills at negotiation? If so, you are probably the same ones who think that Clinton is responsible for our good economy.
The Yugoslavians may well turn these men over the jackso9n. If they do, it won't be because of what a wonderful man he is. It will be because Milosevic recognizes that this would be a good way to embarrass Clinton.
It is a violation of federal law for Jackson to interject himself into this situation in this way .... but nobody will stop him. That, as you know, would certainly be a very racist thing to do.
