I've been reading along and have had in my mind that someone accused Cheney of being drunk... I posted my speculation that alcohol was involved, based on the following: 1) As a theory for the 24 hour gap in reporting the incident to the authorities. 2) The fact that Mrs. Armstrong stated that there may have been a beer or two involved. This is the same wording that almost every DUI suspect gives the arresting officer. 3) The fact that Mrs. Armstrong's comment regarding the beers was first posted on an online news service (don't recall which one, but could look it up) and then removed from the site several hours later. Connecting the dots makes me suspect that alcohol was involved. I offered it not as an accusation but as a theory to explain the backstory that is apparently still not been disclosed. P.S. Its amazing how civil everyone has been since DB banished The Partisan Four. <g> BTW, I applaud him for taking two from each side.
