did you cash in those feb 50's today.

With DELL knocking on the door of $50 at the close, and the market looking like it had found a bottom, I was having fantasies of turning a nice profit in a few days. And I may still. I'm not sure, but I have a feeling DELL may have been a victim of guilt by association in the after market.

GTW warned of lower earnings, but from what I have seen the only mention of DELL falling short was in a headline from TheFlyOnTheWall that linked DELL to GTW

(theflyonth..) Dell Computers-DELL & Gateway 2000-GTW cautious comments on 4Q eps

I have not found any independent article citing a DELL warning. DELL was back up to 48_1/2 after hours, which suggests that maybe people are figuring out the headline was misleading. Here's a link to what I think is the real story
