Naive comment.

I don't think so. I have plenty of personal experience with how agencies develop their official reports. If it has an agency seal on it, it's as close to credible as things get these days. I have no personal experience with the FBI, but there's little variation from agency to agency on things like this. The bureaucracies have their way.

Now, there are questions about whether the report that Durbin referenced is an official FBI report, so that's another matter. I'm much less impressed by the informally reported observations of a single FBI agent.
