Ed:I remember hearing similar stories about Iomega a few months ago back when it was in the mid-teens. I heard stories from retailers, magazine editors product users, etc. about how lousy the jaz and zip were. There were either configuration problems, would overheat, stop working, slow speed, etc. That was even before the jaz recall which was going to devestate the company. There were supposedly a lot of returns and people upset because they couldn't get through to customer service. I was one of those that had problems with a ditto and had to deal with getting through to customer service and finally returning it to the company for repairs. Did that keep me from buying more IOM products? No. But, all the negative news from end users and my personal experience kept me from adding to my position in the stock during the lows.

I am not doubting the validity of your story, but I learned a lesson that end users are not indicitive of how well the company is going to do financially. I hope the story is wrong, but it is my assumption that management will be able to tackle the problems as they present themselves.

>> there are 9000 stocks out there, 8500 have a better out look than ASND<<

With ASND at 35 1/4? Come on. With companies growing as fast as ASND you have to expect a great deal of volatility.

Until we get some FACTS, I am not going to let fear and misinformation make me lower my assessment.

BUY ON FEAR, SELL ON GREED! :o)
