The good news is that neither party did it, condoned it, or orchestrated it, so you can put that worry to rest.
We are a nation of 300,000,000 people ... that's an awful lot of people (and they are breeding as fast as they can for the most part).
The law of large numbers says that when you are dealing with numbers as large as 300,000,000, weird things are going to happen.
Maybe tomorrow a guy will die while trying to have sex with an African Rock Python ... does this mean that man on rock python sex is a growing menace? No it just means that if you get enough humans together, something weird will happen.
In this case no political party has anything to do with anything, it is just something weird that happened and caught your attention for a few seconds ... tomorrow some other weird thing will happen and this will be forgotten, and your mind will dwell on the new weird thing.
Which will be forgotten when a story breaks that kids are dressing up as Obama with a Hitler mustache for Halloween ... |
