Yes, very good post. I know a person in the geo/exploration biz who told me something similar to what you said. DeBeers essentially is going after something they past over awhile ago, and are pissed the SUF got it. The Heirs provided an opportunity for them to go after it. And perhaps all they ever hoped for in the end was control on how/where they were sold etc.

Sure, Debeers and the heirs may win and SUF gets 0, since stranger things have happened in dealings with governments, but it seems unlikely. SUF will likely do well and the other two parties will get something I would imagine. Sure it won't be as good as it would have it none of this nonsense happened in the first place. But if the pipe is as good as reported then SUF shareholders who have been filling up during this downturn should be rewarded.
