Hi Angier, I've heard of this, but I don't consider 2 standards a standard. Even though I'm in the egineering field, I don't enjoy upgrading anything on my PC, especially with the sharing of interrupts. Also, who's going to pay the postage for sending back back my modem and reinstall it if the standard requires a hardware upgrade.
