Illogical. I smell a rat... "Needham "analyst" and ESST cheerleader is concerned with CUBE's ability to do his $0.39 in the Q do to the shortage of loaders. According to him the market will be limited to only 2.5M units in the Q and ESST & OAKT have already shipped a combined total of 1.7M units so that leaves only 800k for CUBE. " Now wait a minute...how can "all news be bad news for all companies involved"? A "shortage" of loaders implies someone is selling lots of something! 0) VideoCD is doing quite well. 1) DVD is hitting stores; demand is projected to be huge. 2) CUBE is in the potty; they are introducing a number of DVD products. 3) ESST is in the potty...? 4) OAKT is in the potty; CD-ROM and CD-R are strong...OAKT also has a DVD browser. 5) Somebody is lying. But then again, it wasn't a "lie" that there was a "bug in the Pentium." Wish I'd bought Intel then.
