Blizzard has this title locked up. Yes, Mageslayer could have been a fun game but it's so chock full of interface screw-ups that it's not worth the while. The graphics are well done but the overhead view does nothing for the game as well as the control options. Keyboard play is impossible and I don't use a joystick so don't know how that would help. I hope that GT dumps out of this one soon. You're right with little effort this could have been a great title. Add isometric view and mouse driven interface and they'd be set. I also think if GT doesn't get on the ball Activision could end up cleaning their clock.
