Sorry BellBoy, I packed those bags a little heavy.....
Wally - I may be "The BellBoy, but I will be very disappointed if my kids are baggage handlers. I want the to be like Jim W. and have exciting lives.
BellBoy,
Wow, that boosts the old ego, I appreciate the compliment, but in reality things are not always as they seem. Lately I hate to admit I work at the Cape. I'm glad I work Range Safety Real-Time Computers and don't build the Titan IV or the Delta III! These are the newest Generation of the vehicles, and they just can't get it right.
msnbc.com I felt a lot prouder and better over all, when I lived in Germany, Traveled all over Europe, followed the Formula 1 Circuit around Europe, cruising the Autobahn at 130Mph, and worked on the Black Hawk, Cobra, and Apache Helicopter Flight Simulators. Now that was an exciting life style, at least to this mild mannered <G> Floridian.
But I still enjoy my current position, especially when we launch a Space Shuttle.
At least I expect my odds at the Crap Tables in Las Vegas next week to be better than what I gave the Delta III when we launched Tuesday night.
It was a pretty launch though, if you were on Cocoa Beach Tuesday night it would take your breath away. Check out the first 3 pictures in the link below, click and Blow them up, pardon the pun. flatoday.com
