OK. Finally, a post with some content in it. So Italy is an interesting case. The question is this. Was it that they acted late that things are so bad? Or was it that they had a terrible health care system? Or was it that they have a very old and unhealthy population where it initially spread? Or was it that they have a lot of Chinese people in the area where it originally spread? It might be a combination of all of those things, but which is the relatively larger source of variation? Hard to determine, but I'd say those are all the major things they need to look at, if they want to create a better plan for the next time around.
