Has anyone looked at what other large companies are reporting for net income per share per quarter? Have you looked at their stock prices and how much the growth increased over last year?
Now, then look at CD and its low stock price relative to what it earned, how much earnings increased over last year and how much they are supposed to increase next year.
CD has great franchises like Century 21, Caldwell Banker, Ramada Inns, Avis Rent-a-car, etc.
They are big on the internet, in software games, and travel clubs.
I believe anyone buying now, will be handsomely rewarded AFTER the preliminary and final audits are completed. Those holding now will then be richly rewarded . . .
IF THE AUDITS come out with no more really big surprises.
If anyone has some figures on what other 20% growh, large cap companies are making per quarter vs what they are selling for, please post that info here as I think it will be helpful.
The only other big company that I can think of off the top of my head with superior earnings growth and a low PE is Phillip Morris (MO) and even they have a higher PE than CD in spite of lawsuits that may linger for decades !
At least CD's problems have a good chance of being resolved in a few months. When the doubt and risk clears up (the pre-liminary audit might be the start), then I hope to see CD up many, many points.
CD: ~ $ 15.00a
