1. If you had no stock in this company, would you buy it now? At a nickel? Sure. 2. Do you have to own a certificate when name changes? Besides to kill the shorts, that is. I didn't think so but ALMOST sounds like that's what's being said. Is it? No. The TA and your brokerage coordinate the exchange and replacement with new shares. The name/symbol change automatically calls all certs in to the TA, and shorters will have to cover. TG
