Good questions and i have often asked them myself. Saddam would over time have become more of a threat and one day he might have been as threatening as NK or Pakistan pre-9/11 with DR. NUKE spreading his wares. Yes its a dangerous world. Truth is i think going in was fine for a variety of reasons but not recognizing the post war threat and continuing to fight war on the cheap is what the real mistake was. Looking back when i saw the looting and remmebered giuliani talking about quality of life crimes--that was key as was seeing unprotected stockpiles of weapons after the iraqi army was effectively disbanded. Nadine, they fucked up. It happened. Now we need to fix it and we dont have much time. mike
