Thanks Dave you said exactly what I was thinking, but I find it hard to foresee that far in the future. I have trouble with the next short term move. Also over a year you may lose a good move in the stock because you don't close one position and then have the chance to write the next one at a higher strike price and then moving up with the stock as it increases in price.
