Very nice analysis Dan! I might add to your point the fact of having the larger working cash from the LEAP premie to hedge further or leverage with sideshows your parent stock. This is the where you can really generate additional profits using the other person's money and not yours! Now, this can be done provided you are a good technical chart reader and you are comfortable working with PUTs and long calls. The idea of selling naked PUTs on the bottoms and doing occasional long calls on the same stock is an interesting prospect. You would really have to be really bad to screw up those strategies.
