Hello Dale, What are the probabilities???............
You simply have to examine the record and decide what probable outcomes there are. Sure surprises do happen, but whether one feels that they should bet on something by investing money shoud be determined by the likelyhood of an occurrence rather than a remote possibility.

Camelot has just never been successful at anything. When they were dabbling in real estate, they were losing money. When they were into corporate piracy,, they were losing money. Ever since they have begun the attempt to shift to computer/internet products, they have consitently shown losses based on business operations.

Camelot stock has consistently been a dog. It was briefly driven to almost $8 by a combination of a campaign of disinformation by the management and a simple mention of the company by a disreputable stock pundit with a national forum. It has been on a downward slide ever since. Yes there have been some perturbations caused by media hype initiated by management, unfortunately the promises made have never been delivered upon and the stock soon resumed it's fall.

Recently several things have happened to further erode investor confidence. Camelot has failed to release an upgrade for Digiphone. This was due in January 1996...no sign of it yet. The Q2 report showed sales of only $186K, perhaps the lowest ever. The 100 Mr CD ROM stores promised by DW never materialized. Now the 6 that they have are shrinking to 3,( and in fact the whole retail division likely will soon vanish) becuase they have been such dismal failures. The majority of Camelot's development department and several of it's key officers have quit over the last few months. Sales predictions for Q3 show expected results as bad or worse than those achieved in Q2.

Ok so MAYBE this company will surprise us all, but the probability ranges from quite low to virtually nonexistant.

So if you are the kind of person that bets on the horse with a bad leg and a 500 pound handicap, buy or hold CAML. Otherwise get as far away from this pig as you can.
