In London, silver remained higher at USD 13.38/13.40 per troy
ounce as compared to its last close of -
USD 13.34/13.36 per troy ounce.

Similarly, spot standard gold (99.5) and pure gold (99.9)
also opend high at Rs 8,960 and Rs 9,010 per ten gm
respectively.
Later, they eased and closed low at Rs 8,950 and Rs 9,000
respectively.

Both the prices eased by Rs five each from their last close.

In the London market, gold was quoted lower at 685/687 per
troy ounce against 688/688 per troy ounce, which affected
to downward trend in domestic prices, traders pointed out.

Following are the spot silver and gold closing prices:

Silver (per kg) .999 grade : Rs 18,285 (18,255)

Gold (per 10 gm): Standard mint 99.5 purity : Rs 8,950 (8,855)

Pure gold 99.9 purity : Rs 9,000 (9,005)

Spot gold today closed lower on thin demand
but silver rose on lesser stocks supply, traders at
the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold:
Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 18,285 (18,255),
Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,950
(8,955) Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 9,000 (9,005)

A mixed trend was witnessed during the closing session
in the bullion market today, with silver advancing by
Rs 30 per kg on renewed demand, while gold eased by
Rs five per ten gm on weak global advices, traders at
the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Silver fineness .999 opened high at Rs 18,305 per kg on
fresh buying support.
Later, it slightly improved and closed at Rs 18,285 per kg
with a gain of Rs 30 from its last close.
