Answers: 1. A few nice words from some clients: "SystemWizard is exactly the kind of product that Microsoft had hoped would be developed to work with our programminginterfaces," Stork continued. "We believe that by extending the system-level capabilities of Windows 95, SystemWizard will have an enormous impact on reducing the growing support-call burden faced by the entire computer industry. We expect to continue working with SystemSoft to further refine this technology and ensure that it exploits the Windows platform to its fullest." "The introduction of SystemWizard is a major achievement in the industry-wide effort to increase PC customer satisfaction," said Ian Diery, President and CEO of AST Research. "We are proud to offer users this breakthrough in PC usability. Not only will SystemWizard enable us to make our users experience a more positive one, it will enable us to re-direct dollars previously devoted to telephone support into endeavors that deliver greater customer value."
2.What are SystemWizard's competitors? "In many respects, the SystemWizard end-to-end solution does not have direct competitors. To some extent, there are competitors on the client solution, although no product has an expert system that diagnoses AND resolves problems automatically. There are also many help-desk products which assist on the Technical Support side. These are not competitors either, as SystemWizard can be integrated into these products to further reduce Technical Support costs. No one offers a solution as comprehensive as SystemWizard." Regarding Zoomed Video: "During the first quarter, SystemSoft continued to build its lead in the market for advanced PC Card software solutions by providing the enabling PC Card software for the first commercially available implementation of Zoomed Video on the Toshiba Tecra720CDT. Additionally, as corporate users begin to adopt Windows NT on their notebook fleets, they will demand the same level of PC Card support available today with other Windows platforms and SystemSoft PC Card software products. To enable this need SystemSoft is now working closely with several leading notebook OEMs to develop a new generation of PC Card software to support the corporate market's adoption of WindowNT." 3.I can't give you estimated projections on profits for upcoming quarters but I foresee the deal with Ericsson to incorporate SYSF MobilePro Software in the smart phones to generate a whole new source of income for winter quarter 96-1997 and through '97. 4."SystemSoft has enjoyed 50 percent or greater comparable quarterly revenue growth in every quarter since our initial public offering," stated Bob Angelo, Chairman, CEO and President of SystemSoft Corporation. "Today I am delighted to report that the streak continues. In this, our eighth quarter since becoming a publicly held company, we have not only increased revenue by 55percent, but for the first time in our history revenues exceeded $8 million. Our product family continues to grow as our OEM customers increasingly turn to us for advanced system level softwareproducts.Strongroyalty-based relationships with the top five mobile computer manufacturers -- Toshiba, NEC, Compaq, Apple and now with our announcement earlier this week, IBM -- are driving our dramatic growth. We will continue to grow our company and increase our investments in innovative system-level software products that drive down the cost of PC ownership while enhancing the practicality of the PC as a consumer appliance. As we move forward with our call avoidance software strategy, our strong relationships with our OEM customers will allow rapid distribution of this exciting new technology."
ChiTao if you're still not convinced that SYSF has a wonderful future that merits such a high PE, take a look at their homepage, or bet yet go to systemsoft.com and witness the long parade of accolades from industry giants like Intel, Microsoft, Lotus, Digital, Wang, AST and US Robotics. Have you ever heard so many "enemies" having a common friend, if you will. They are sharing the intimate workings of their hardware and software with this one company because of a common cause. IT WILL SAVE THEM MONEY ! Although the concept of Call Avoidance Software will be far from perfect, this industry AND its customers have needed a company like SystemSoft for a long time. If SystemSoft didn't exist today, somebody else would have had to invent it. I think the general conclusion of this industry is that a company like SystemSoft must succeed, or their all going to go nuts on support costs.
