Value line had very little comment beyond what was in the initial news release. I did research on IHS and did not come away very impressed. Deal goes through in all probablity unless price of Integrated drops to 33 or under range. I plan to vote no, but doubt it will matter. As to hold vs sell, I think I can get better price for ROTC after the deal approved. I am hoping Integrated will get back to high thirtys by then and I will probably sell.
The bit about better balance sheet because of ROTC purchase is accounting slight of hand. This is a merger and they are accounting for it as a purchase to beef up the balance sheet. I don't like the smell of that type of accounting. IHS has had spotty growth record compared to ROTC is the main reason I don't like it. I haven't followed IHS so I don't know if something has changed that would change that.
