Well...I decided to ditch SQM.

Must admit -- it was only a small position, but I handled this trade rather poorly. I purchased the shares just under $120. In a week's time -- the stock reached a high of $130. In retrospect, that was clearly the time to exit. Instead, I got greedy and sat with it. It's now $119 and change (below the 20 SMA), and I've sold for a small loss. I suppose that's better than a hefty loss. <g>
SQM could easily continue its upward path, but in truth -- I was never terribly comfortable holding this stock. I didn't care for the low volume, and while I was attracted to the strength of the stock -- after such a big run-up this past year, I was becoming concerned it could take a tumble. Not selling after a ten point gain was absurd. I should know better. Need to learn from these mistakes.
I've had a number of not so great trades lately. On the other hand, I'm still new to TA, so I'm allowing for some bumps along the way. Hopefully the rest of 2005 will be more profitable. <g>
FYI, I'm learning a tremendous amount from this thread, and I appreciate all of your contributions. I hope everyone on the thread is making oodles of money this summer! <vbg>
