oh that...what is so disturbing about this is that it drives the ratio of new debt incurred for every dollar of GDP growth to even insaner levels.

however, had one paid attention to ACTUAL corporate profit growth in the late 90's, one would have realized that the governmental assessment of the economy's prowess must be flawed.

i'm not surprised that it all turns into a myth in hindsight.
