Stan, Thanks for your post. No, I never considered Borland since Bill Gates killed the company, especially after the ceo (?) left for the enemy's camp. <g> But, my inclusion or exclusion of a stock doesn't always make a value statement. Frequently I am partial to a certain sector that I am slightly more knowlegeable about--or less knowledge about cuz it then fascinates me. Regards, Ibexx PS: in addition to MSFT, my second largest holding in software is SAP, the German giant enterprise software company that generated a lot of news in recent days. I have had the stock since Spring. Ranked 3rd and 4th are SYBS (a fabulous turn-around story just budding--pay a visit to the SYBS thread) and Arbor Software which is specialized in data-warehousing. Did own Oracle but unloaded it.
