FWIW: I was told by a senior executive of a major securities firm only ten days or so ago that Forbes was "an egomaniac" and that his failure to accept responsibility for what happened on his watch was "arrogant" and irresponsible.

Since I don't know Forbes, I can't speak to the former point. I've worked with enough CEOs in my professional career, however, to agree wholeheartedly with the latter judgment.

I'm still hovering but will likely buy CD this week because the long term outlook seems to justify the risk.
