That's what the SI ENGA thread is for. The problem with valuing this stock is that it is essentially a closed end fund holding publicly traded stocks, which can be valued, non-public ventures, which we cannot value, and "deal flow" or "synergy" or whatever you want to call the ability to buy Alta Vista and use it to enhance ENGA. It is a tough valuation issue. In the end, I guess that you just take the public holdings and value those and call the rest of it a "premium" to the public holdings. Does anyone know the answer to the first question--what are the public holding of CMGI and what is their value?
