John; Krugman is right again. Krugman is right and wrong this morning. He is right about the health of the banking system - he is wrong in saying the banking industry needs reform. Well it needs reform - but not what Krugman wants I suspect. The reform needed is for heads to role. Obama has his head up his ars on this and he better get it out and back on his shoulders or his adiministration will crash down around him! Bold statement huh? Wellll, Obama works for the people - not the banking industry. This GS bonus crap needs attention - and attention RIGHT NOW. Increasing looks like I might get a chance to test the FDIC insurance. A bank I use has been given a Cease and Desist orders. Two banks in the relatively strong PNW have been given Cease and Desist orders. Not good and looks like we have a long ways to go yet. Meanwhile GS which exist thanks to you and I have a pool that allows bonuses of over 600,000 per employee. We don't need reform - we need leadership! steve
