"Cybersquatting is when someone buys rights to a domain name with the intention of reselling the name for a profit."

Cybersquatting a crime? Twice a felony? That is the craziest damned thing that I have ever heard. Buying a name just to sell it at a profit? Why, speculation of that nature should be banned, of course!

After all, I don't buy stocks just to make a profit. I buy them knowing that my money will go to the company and help it grow. Yeah, right. Domain names are like real estate on the net. If you want to invest in real estate, go ahead. Maybe somebody will buy it from you, and you might- gads- make a profit...or maybe you are out seventy bucks, because you were a friggin lunatic to think that www.heythisisagreatsightreallycomeonandbuyit.com would be worth millions...risk and reward, the principles that our country was built on.

I can see it now...rapists let free so we can get those damned two-time cybersquatters off the street. Those squatters have absolutely KILLED the growth of the internet...

Long NSOL and waiting for a big quarter, thanks to a bunch of squatters.

(PS this has to do with the guys who actually buy the names to resell, right? They are paying, right?)
