For anyone interested in seeing what institutions are buying/selling into AMPEX you can get all that stuff and more at "http://stocksmart.com". Looks like there was an 18% increase in institutional investors as of June of last year. I would like to see what that number is currently. Anybody know a more current source? On another front, I talked to a friend at a local store that sells the Maxtor,Western Digital,and Iomega hard drives. He owns a Maxtor and a Western Digital. He had to ship one of the Maxtors back for crashing and they sent one back the next business day without a hassle and they paid the shipping. This is good customer service! He is also the Manager of the outfit(it was his hard drive). Also, he mentioned that he thought WESTERN DIGITAL was a superior brand. Of course, the stock performance is a reflection of that. I personally invested in WDC about 2 years ago at 15. It sure would be nice to see WDC to be the next to signor with AMPEX! What are the odds of another one signing on before the new Maxtor KM enhanced product hits the shelves(assuming it makes it to market)? Any and all comments are welcomed. john
