AFAIR, one of them was due to retire in the next few years. Given that MD is only 34 as well as the founder and the largest (Is that correct? Will check.) individual shareholder in the company, I would in fact worry about the other gentleman leaving DELL for a CEO position in another company. Good managers leaving for a rival is never good news and I hope they both had nice option packages granted along with MD in the recent review. :-) But, it may very well be just a rumor after all. -BGR.
