bp and threads: Just read an interesting article by Howard Simmons from Jan futures magazine. According to 1929 to 1997 data, the second week of the year's S&P 500 weekly change agrees with S&P 500 annual change 80% of the time. If you want a hint to the market direct for 1999, look no further than the second week of the year. Allen
