Having said this I go on to make the following statement.
These terrorists are not evil per se. They are not doing this for fun. They repreresent an outlet for political aspirations that have not been able to find any other way to achieve their political aims. It is a strategy born of desperation. To their mind they have nothing to lose.


This might be true of the Palestinians, but w.r.t. Osama bin Laden and associates, I disagree vehemently. They do not have any legitimate political dispute with the US. Their only dispute stems from their religious fundamentalism.

Yes, they are evil.
