If there was some way to prove 'its' predictive value and quantify
its benefit, is that something you would want to do? By 'its' I
mean your entire operationalization of your Trading System (i.e.,
The Theory).

Don't see why I should want to.
I'll take that as a question regarding the value of such an exercise.
The bottom line value is that it enables you to predict to a scientific certainty the results that you will obtain. This doesn't mean 100% precision. It does mean the ability to quantify the accuracy of your system as well as the ability to make maximum use of your data to improve system performance. That is, make more money more reliably.

Sounds like I might spoil a good thing.
No, it can only make a good thing better. For example, learning to READ music doesn't spoil your ability to enjoy music and opens up a lot more opportunities to play and explore music.

BTW, I'm not selling anything. I'm looking at developing my own systems using this kind of "Approach". This is merely the application of the Scientific Method to a particular set of problems. And I'm looking for like minded people on SI to share ideas with. If you come across any please send them my way. It's like hunting for a needle in a haystack, or so I'm told.

P.S. I'm not sure we got the complete story on your name. I thought it had to do with a carpenter's apprentice.
